From the very beginning, our founders have shaped The Fifth Act Company's dedication to original stage productions and emotionally driven storytelling. Their unwavering passion and vision drive every project, ensuring our work resonates deeply with audiences.

Meet our team

Tyler Cowie

Founder

Tyler Cowie is an emerging performer with credits across stage and screen. His work includes television and theatre  projects with Kayak Holidays, National Holidays, Theatre Royal Drury Lane and Birmingham Hippodrome. He is a two-time NODA award recipient, including Best Leading Male in a Youth Production and Best youth Ensemble in a Production  . Tyler is also the founder of The Fifth Act Company, an Oxford based theatre company is pleased to be part of this production. Tyler plans to take a year out of education working at Wycombe Abbey before returning to drama school to continue his training.

 

 

Tom Martin

Co-founder

Tom Martin is an actor with a background in theatre and vocal performance. Previous roles include Jim Bayliss in All My Sons by Arthur Miller, Dr Chasuble in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Mrs Lovett in an all-male production of Sweeney Todd. They are also a former member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain. After a year out of education, Tom plans to return to drama school to continue their training.

 

 

 

Chloe Downes

Writer

Chloe Downes is a performer and creative from Belfast, Ireland, with a strong passion for storytelling both on and off the stage. She has appeared in a range of productions, including Macbeth, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Sister Act, showcasing her versatility across classic and contemporary theatre. Chloe is also the writer and director of Williams Street, a powerful original play set in Derry in 1972 during the events of Bloody Sunday, reflecting her interest in bringing meaningful and thought-provoking stories to life.

 

 

Esme Anderton

Co- Founder

Esme Anderton is a versatile performer with experience that extends both on and off the stage. As a dedicated member of her hometown youth theatre group. She has performed at the Minack Theatre in multiple productions, including Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as at the North Wall Theatre in Oxford in the original production Three M’others. After university, Esme plans to explore opportunities beyond the UK, travelling to gain new experiences and continuing to grow her work within the performing arts on an international scale.

 

 

 

 

Cam Andersen

Performer

Campbell Andersen is a conservationist from Oxford, with a deep love of creative expression through story telling and music. Whilst his degree is in Biology, he is an avid creative and performer, having appeared in productions of 'Much ado about nothing', alongside numerous performances as a drummer and guitarist for bands across the country. His return to theatre marks an exciting step foreward into acting, brought about by a profound respect for the historical source material and the people who lived through it.
